JAC announces the creation of Skyline Performer Awards in NYC

Young entertainer, JAC Carrera, announced that he is going to be using his platform to create an award show in NYC to recognize and celebrate the young entertainers. The show is set to launch in 2020. He currently published the website and is putting together his team to work on this project.

On April 20th the Young Artist Awards announce their nominees for this years 40th annual awards which will be held in Hollywood CA this coming July 14. Jac was nominated for his best performance in the short filmm Swinging Into Action Directed by Joseph Guevara. This is Jac first nomination at the YAA.

Jac was chosen to be part of the promotion of the new channel Universal Kids. Very similar to the Universal Studios Brand. Universal Kids is taking over Sprout's Place from 6 pm to 3 am Eastern and Sprout will become a block for the new channel from 3 am to 6 pm Eastern.

I just wrapped another awesome student short film by Joel Haver, entitled "Things that happen at Middle School Dance". I played the role of Marcus an innocent shy boy who is trying to get the girl he likes to dance but he does not have the guts to do it. At the end he ends up dancing with her. Awesome cast and crew.

I just wrapped my first lead in a short film by Melanie Keating, entitled "Bloody Mary". I played the role of Charles an innocent and intelligent child. He feel empathy for Mary after witnessing her induce miscarriage. However, the pressure to impress his friend, Henry, causes him to mistreat her. Nonetheless, Charles has a big heart and shows immense strength saving her at the end. Awesome experience loved every minute of it, lovely cast and crew.
